Annapurna Jomsom Trek - 12 days

Pokhara and the Annapurna Region
We start our trip in Kathmandu (the capital of Nepal), taking in a day sightseeing to some of the historical sites, finishing the day with a traditional dinner and local dancing.
We then fly to Pokhara spend the day to visit some temples and the International Mountaineering Museum. The next day we fly to Jomsom and start our trek to Kagbeni & Mukinath which is the largest Hindu temple outside India.
Trekking down the Kali Gandaki River valley back to Jomsom is a wide open valley all the way to the lovely village of Marpha. Standing at the bottom of the valley at (2,540m altitude) the world’s deepest valley is some 5 ½ km below the summit of Dhaulagiri (8,167m).We stop overnight in Tatopani where we can relax in the hot springs.
Pokhara is on the shores of Lake Phewa Tal and has spectacular mountain scenery with a lush foreground of greenery surrounding the lake. Pokhara is close to the Annapurna Mountains and offers nothing more than to relax; eat in one of the many cafés spread out along the shores or take a leisurely boat ride on the lake.
It is also possible to spend time at a retreat for yoga and meditation which is in a beautiful setting above the shores of Lake Phewa Tal.
