Everest Base Camp Trek - 19 Days

We start our trip in Kathmandu (the capital of Nepal), taking in a day sightseeing to some of the historical sites in this bustling & colourful city, finishing the day with a traditional dinner and local dancing. We then fly to Lukla and start our trek up to Everest Base Camp.
The Everest region is famous not only for its home to the world’s highest mountain (8,848 m) but also for its Sherpa Villages, colourful Tibetan prayer flags, Mani walls, temples and Monasteries.
The trek to Everest Base Camp (EBC) at 5,364m and ascent to Kala Pattar at 5,550m to view Mount Everest over looks base camp and the Khumbu icefall which is an awe-inspiring, emotional journey for many. The view is just MAGIC!!!!
We visit schools, Kunde hospital, Buddhist monasteries (including the famous Tengboche Monastery), the Himalayan rescue post at Pheriche, Italian research station.

Trekking 4 Women has built in extra nights at Gorak Shep, which gives everyone the best opportunity to visit both Everest Base Camp & Kala Pattar, before we return to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu.
This journey to Everest Base Camp gives you a real sense of achievement and the experience changes those who trek here  for ever. AMAZING!!!!

Day 4: Nanache Bazzar (acclimatistaion /rest  day)
Day 5: Trek to Khunde & Khumjung
Day 6:Trek to Tengboche & Deboche
Day 7: Trek to Dingboche
Day 8: Dingboche  (acclimatistaion /rest  day)
Day 9: Trek to Lobuche
Day 10: Trek to Gorak Shep
Day11: Trek to Everest Base Camp and back to Gorak Shep
Day 12 Trek to Kala Pattar – Gorak Shep – Pheriche
Day 13: Trek to Phortse
Day 14: Trek to Namche Bazzar
Day 15: Namache Bazzar (rest day)
Day16: Trek to Phakding
Day 17: Trek to Lukla
Day 18: Fly to Kathmandu
Day 19: Kathmandu
