Muktinath, Pokhara & the Annapurna Region

(this trip is for both women & men)

We start our trip in Kathmandu taking in a days sightseeing before flying to Pokhara for a day and another flight to Jomsom. We assemble our bikes and  cycle through a popular trekking trail to Kagbeni for the night.A modern town is the ‘Thakali’ homeland. Thakali people are of Tibetan origin but have their own language and customs. Kagbeni  is a medieval town on the border of the Mustang Valley. We then head up through the barren landscape to Muktinath.  We are  rewarded with spectacular views of the Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Tukuche peak and several other 8,000 mts peaks in this valley, which leads us to many different wonderful villages rich in cultural and architectural.
Riding on the rocky wide and small track from Jomsom, we descend slowly to meet the paved road which takes us to the beautiful Pokhara city lying on the foothill of Annapurna Mountain Range. Unlike the rest of the Nepalese Himalayas, the Annapurna mountain range does not form the border between Nepal and Tibet.

Please be aware this trip has long cycling days and tougher terrain (for both on- and off-road trips) requiring specific experience of more demanding and technical cycling. Vehicle support may be more limited. You should be very confident of your physical condition and bike handling skills.
