Straddling the Kenyan / Tanzanian border, Kilimanjaro is Africa’s highest mountain and theeighth highest mountain in the world, towering 5895m (19,340 ft) over the plains below. Kilimanjaro is the highest free standing mountain on earth and is permanently snow capped. While no technical climbing is involved, this is a strenuous 33km track winding its way up through the equatorial rainforest and across high lunar like glacial terrain to the summit.

 Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti is Tanzania’s largest park covering an area of 14,700 sq kms. Serengeti’s main attractions lies in its 3 million game animals and the annual migration when hundreds of thousands of Wildebeests and zebra trek north annually simply to graze and at times rushing across rivers and the Serengeti plains. The game mostly seen in the Serengeti in addition to the Wildebeest and Zebra are Gazelle, Lion, Cheetah, Warthog, Hyena, Hippo, and Ostrich. There are more than thirty five species of animals and many birdlife to be seen.
